Last month, the DU Grand Challenges Forum on “Access to Work” brought campus and community stakeholders together to exchange ideas. The Forum opened with bold and inspirational ‘lightning’ talks from campus and community experts, followed by dialogue and refreshments among faculty, staff, students and community members.
This year’s DU Grand Challenges Forums are organized around scholarship that can inform understanding of barriers and prospects to increasing economic opportunities in our communities. Last fall, Forums addressed education access and innovation and entrepreneurship. Across Forums, attendees examine links between the organizing theme and interrelated issues. They then identify entry points for broad cross-sector collaborations that will drive collective action in the years ahead.
Be part of the conversation at the next Forum on Workplace Equity (Tuesday, February 19 from 4:00-5:30pm in Anderson Academic Commons). Your input will help shape actions in the years ahead!
