Connecting Change-Makers: Community-Engaged Scholarship to End Gender Violence

On April 14th, DU Grand Challenges hosted the Community-Engaged Scholarship to End Gender Violence Forum. The forum featured lightning talks by three inspiring speakers. They were Anne DePrince, Distinguished Professor in the
Department of Psychology and Director of CCESL, Ashley Simpson, a 3rd-year Biochemistry student and Founder of Sonriendo Pa’lante, and Sterling Harris, Chief Deputy Director of the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance.

We are grateful for our co-sponsors: Gender and Women’s Studies, the Culture of Respect leadership team, and the Center for Advocacy, Prevention, & Empowerment for co-sponsoring the event.
