Tackling Grand Challenges: Action to Improve Daily Living
As the aspirations phase under DU Grand Challenges’ inaugural theme of improving daily living in our communities comes to an end, we are excited to support ideas that tackle different facets of daily life. Throughout this year, we focused on identifying aspirations for improving daily living in our communities through forums on migration and environmental sustainability as well as healthy development, meeting basic needs and addressing violence. We also collected over 200 distinctive aspirations in a single day as part of the University of Denver’s (DU) inaugural A Community Table event on April 11, 2018.
